SAFETY & MODERATION
Keep the community safe.
College Confession is an independent community platform. These are the safety practices that guide what can be shared, what moderators review, and how to raise a concern.
Anonymous does not mean untraceable
You do not need an account, public profile, name, or email to submit. The service still processes ordinary technical information to operate and limit abuse, and details in a post can identify you or someone else. Do not share names, handles, contact information, class schedules, or clues about where and when a person can be found.
Protect personal information
Do not post phone numbers, addresses, passwords, private messages, social handles, or identifying appearance-and-location details about yourself or another person without permission. Masking part of a name may not make someone unidentifiable when the surrounding details point to them.
What does not belong here
- Harassment, bullying, threats, hate, targeted abuse, or calls to confront someone.
- Requests to identify, locate, contact, follow, or reveal another person's account.
- Sexually explicit or exploitative content, especially anything involving minors or non-consent.
- Illegal or dangerous material, scams, spam, malicious links, or impersonation.
Human moderation before publication
New confessions are held in a private pending queue. An authorized moderator may approve a post, edit it for safety, or reject it before it appears on the public wall. Publication is not guaranteed, and review cannot promise that every unsafe detail will be recognized.
How to report content
For a published confession, use the Report Content page, include its public link or ID, and choose the closest reason. The report enters a private moderation queue. A moderator may dismiss it, edit or reject pending material, or archive or remove a published post. A report does not guarantee immediate removal, a particular outcome, or a response time.
General support and urgent situations
The Contact page explains the supported routes. For privacy, moderation, content-removal, or general service questions, contact the College Confession Team at communitysupport.live@gmail.com. College Confession is not an emergency response service; if someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
